About Us

Our Concept

We focus on games and books with dark and/or LGBTQ themes.

As fans of World of Darkness and PbtA games, and of horror and queer literature, and books on more occult subjects, we want to offer only what we ourselves would want to play and read.

We also bring in books by request, if they are difficult to get a hold of in Sweden.

While we are niche, that fact enables us to focus on what we want to share with others, and to do so more than other shops with generally broader selections.

Cracked Mirror Games & Books was started in 2020, during the ongoing pandemic, and then - as now - we have no ambition to open a physical shop, though a different kind of virtual shop has been considered.

We try to focus on bringing in hard-to-obtain limited/deluxe original print runs of books and games, as on-demand reprints are readily available from the OneBookShelf sites, like Storytellers Vault and DriveThruRPG; if you want PDFs or reprints, we wholeheartedly recommend them, and if you want to support us, you can use our affiliate links.

Physical copies we sell always include the PDF version, when possible.
